About :

Nikhila Vimal was born in Taliparamba, Kerala to Pavithran and Kalamandalam Vimaladevi. Her father retired from statistical department while her mother is a classical dancer. Her elder sister Akhila Vimal is a research scholar in Theater arts at Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. Nikhila Vimal learned Bharata Natyam, Kuchipudi, Kerala Natanam and mono-act. She also made her presence in youth festivals. She graduated her B.Sc (Botany) in 2016 from Sir Syed College, Taliparamba.

Career :

Her family had close ties with Malayalam film director Sathyan Anthikkad and that paved way in Malayalam films. She did a child artist role in Sathyan Anthikkad’s film titled Bhagyadevatha in the year 2009. She was in 8th standard when this film released. She decided to complete her studies first and she made her full-fledged acting debut with the Malayalam film titled Love 24x7 in 2015. This film was a huge hit and she got noticed from there.
The following year, she made her Tamil film debut in Vetrivel. She has also acted in some Telugu films such as Meda Meeda Abbayi, and Gayatri. Her recent released films include Njan Prakashan, Mera Naam Shaji, and Oru Yamandan Premakadha. She will be next seen in Tamil film Ranga. For her performance in Malayalam film Aravindante Athidhikal, she won Kerala Kaumudi Flash Movies and Vanitha Film Awards.
